FreeiPods.com

FreeiPods.com: "http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=11057979"

Totally legitimate, yes. Requires some diligence on the part of the person wishing to get the iPod in that you can sign up for something free, but you have to remember to cancel the trial (I did Ancestry.com). It totally pays off, though.

Go there, sign up and complete an offer, than refer five people. When they complete their one offer each, you get a free iPod. Really. (Don't tell anyone, but if you have more than one credit card and more than one email address (and who doesn't?), you could do most of the work yourself. I think that's true, anyway, I haven't checked yet. That's my next step.)

If you're interested, great. If not, keep coming back, I'll try to be more assiduous about posting now that I'm getting PAID for being in front of the computer all day.

You mentioned that if you have more than one credit card and more than one email you can do most of the work yourself at FreeiPods.com. Well if you check the faq at FreeiPods they specifically mention that they tie your account to your shipping address. Which you must enter when you join. If they find that more than one account tied to the same shipping address FreeiPods will place the accounts on hold. No ipod for you...
